Est. in East Africa

Innovation Hub — Kampala

Where ideas become ventures that serve communities.

Mission & Vision

Mission

We design and run innovation programs with African founders and communities — not for them — turning local knowledge into infrastructure, enterprises, and skills that last long after we've handed over the keys.

Vision

A continent where every community has the tools, training, and ownership to solve its own problems — and the resources to keep solving the next one.

How Namunde Lab works

Three lanes. One continuous body of work.

01 — Coaching

Numak Towers, Kampala

Structured ideation, incubation, and acceleration tracks run from our hub on William Street — weekly mentor sessions, workspace access, and founder circles that hold you accountable to real milestones, not pitch-deck theatre.

02 — Community systems

Field & infrastructure

Water, sanitation, agriculture, and education projects co-designed with the people who'll maintain them. We train local technicians, document handover, and measure success by what still works years later.

03 — Called to serve

Ministry-minded work

We blend tech hub energy with a conviction that enterprise and service belong together — ventures that create jobs, and community work that restores dignity. Neither is an afterthought.

What We Do

01

Innovation Programs

Six-month ideation through eighteen-month incubation and acceleration — phased tracks with real deliverables at each stage, from proof of concept to market validation.

02

Mentorship & Coaching

Weekly sessions with operators who've built in East Africa — B2B introductions, skill gaps addressed honestly, and accountability that respects your context.

03

Community Infrastructure

Water, sanitation, and energy projects designed alongside community leads — built for a 20-year lifespan with local maintenance capacity from day one.

04

Advisory & Partnerships

Program design for NGOs, government, and funders who want accountability and community ownership — not imported playbooks.

Namunde Lab exists because the best solutions to Africa's challenges are already being built by Africans. We provide the coaching, facilities, partnerships, and capital access to help them scale.

Testimonials

They didn't just build the well — they trained six of us to maintain it. Three years later, it still runs.

Aisha K.Community Lead, Northern Region · View project

Namunde Lab treated our co-op like a business partner, not a charity case. That changed everything about how we planned.

The ideation program gave us structure, mentors, and a prototype — we launched within six months.
